Baptism

baptismST. ROSE OF LIMA - BAPTISM REQUIREMENTS

  1. A copy of the child’s birth certificate is required.
  2. Community baptisms are held each month on the third Sunday in English at 1:30pm and the fourth Sunday in Spanish at 1:30pm. Your donation of $100.00 is welcome.
  3. For a private baptism, a time and date must be reserved with the priest. There will be a fee of $150.00 for a private baptism. Saturday only.
  4. Godparents must have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation in the Roman Catholic Church. If married, they must have received the Sacrament of Marriage or Convalidation in the Catholic Church.
  5. If not registered at St. Rose of Lima, the godparents must obtain a certificate/letter from their own parish stating that they are members in good standing, actively practicing the faith, and are suitable to act as a godparent.
  6. Baptism preparation class is to be attended by both the parents and godparents. The class is valid for 3 years. Kindly arrange for a babysitter to be fully attentive during the presentation.
  7. Classes in English are held the first Sunday of each month, and Spanish classes are held the second Sunday of each month in the School Conference Room from 10:00am to 12:00pm Please confirm with the office during long weekend holidays.
  8. The baptism will be recorded in the permanent parish records from the information provided. Please confirm the accuracy and spelling of names. A certificate will be provided either on the baptismal day or by mail after the baptism. Whenever another certificate might be needed, it can be prepared from the parish record.

ST. ROSA DE LIMA BAUTISMO - GUÍA Y REQUISITOS

  1. Se requiere una copia del certificado de nacimiento del niño.
  2. Bautismos de la comunidad se llevan a cabo cada mes en el tercer domingo en Inglés a la 1:30pm y el cuarto domingo en Español a la 1:30pm. Su donación de $100.00 es bienvenida.
  3. Para un bautismo privado, una hora y la fecha deben ser reservados con el cura. Habrá una cuota de $150.00 para un bautismo privado. Sábado solamente.
  4. Los padrinos deben haber recibido los sacramentos del Bautismo, Eucaristía y Confirmación en la Iglesia Católica Romana. Si es casado, debe haber recibido el Sacramento del Matrimonio o la Convalidación en la Iglesia Católica.
  5. Si no está registrado en Santa Rosa de Lima, los padrinos deben obtener un certificado / carta de su propia parroquia indicando que son miembros de pleno derecho, activamente la práctica de la fe, y son adecuados para actuar como padrino.
  6. Clase de preparación para el bautismo es para ser atendidos por los padres y padrinos. La clase es válida por 3 años La amabilidad de organizar una niñera para estar totalmente atento durante la presentación.
  7. Las clases de Inglés se celebran el primer domingo de cada mes, y las clases se imparten el segundo domingo de cada mes en la Sala de Conferencia de la Escuela de 10:00am a 12:00pm. Por favor confirmar con la oficina durante las vacaciones de fin de semana largo.
  8. El bautismo se registrará en los registros parroquiales permanentes de la información proporcionada. Por favor confirmar la exactitud y la ortografía de nombres. Un certificado será suministrada bien en el día de bautismo o por correo después del bautismo. Siempre que podría ser necesario otro certificado, puede prepararse a partir del registro de parroquia.
